Baldwin Park High Sophomore to Perform in Rose Parade

Baldwin Park High School sophomore Leo Espinoza has been selected to perform in the prestigious 2025 Tournament of Roses Honor Band, earning a spot among the nation’s most talented young musicians.

Espinoza, a 10th grader, will showcase his trombone skills during the world-renowned Rose Parade on January 1, 2025, representing Baldwin Park Unified School District alongside the Pasadena City College Band.

"I'm excited to be a part of the honor band because I never thought I would do something like this in my life," said Espinoza.

“Leo is a hard worker and deserves this accomplishment,” said BPHS Director or Bands Dr. Peter Huerta.
