BPUSD Celebrates Lively 2025 District Showcase

The event hosted at Baldwin Park High School, marked the exciting return of the District’s signature showcase, spotlighting student achievement and the District’s forward momentum. All BPUSD schools participated, with student performances and visual arts displays taking center stage throughout the campus.

“This event is about more than just showcasing student talent—it’s about showing our community the direction we’re moving in,” Superintendent Dr. Froilan N. Mendoza said. “It’s important that we take moments like this to recognize the hard work and success of our students, staff and families.”

Attendees were treated to a wide range of performances, from band, choir, and dance to cultural showcases and cheer routines. The Art Walk Gallery was another highlight, featuring striking student artwork curated from schools across the District. Among the many things to see were also innovative programs such as Esports, Drones, and Robotics. In addition, a special sports recognition event took place honoring this year’s league champion high school athletes from Baldwin Park High and Sierra Vista High.

Each school hosted interactive booths, allowing families to meet principals, teachers, and student leaders while learning about unique programs and opportunities offered throughout Baldwin Park Unified.

The Showcase featured more than 32 booths, including community partners such as the City of Baldwin Park, the Baldwin Park Police Department, Valley County Water District, local health and wellness agencies, and Think Together. Over four food trucks lined the event, offering a variety of food options, while the lively “Fun Zone” featured lawn games, face painting, and hands-on activities. Culinary arts students shared tasty samples, BPACE offered free manicures, and guests enjoyed festive treats including popcorn, fresh fruit, and churros.

Special guests included Superintendent Mendoza, who kicked off the event, the Baldwin Park Unified Board of Education, and representatives from the offices of Senator Susan Rubio and Assemblymember Blanca E. Rubio, who presented certificates to this year’s recognized student-athletes and coaches.

The 2025 District Showcase served as a vibrant celebration of education, community, and the future of Baldwin Park Unified—one filled with talent, pride, and momentum.
